Our upholstery aboard Marie
André Hoek’s office in Edam is the rare studio that does everything in-house: naval architecture, exterior lines and interiors, with the modern classic as its calling card.
Founded in 1986, Hoek Design became world-famous with the Truly Classic line and a central role in the revival of the J Class, including Svea, built at Vitters. The signature is constant: timeless, elegant lines above the waterline, the very latest technology below it.
The collaboration with Vitters runs deep, and so does ours with the results. The ketches Adèle and Marie, two of the most admired classics afloat, were drawn by Hoek and built in Zwartsluis, and both carry our upholstery. Meraki followed in 2020, and a 68 metre Hoek ketch is currently in build at the same yard.
