Our upholstery aboard Sarissa
A family-owned yard in Zwartsluis that builds nothing but fully custom sailing yachts, and never the same one twice.
Vitters was founded in 1990 and is still owned and managed by its founders. From Zwartsluis the yard delivers custom sailing yachts in aluminium and carbon composite, roughly 30 to 86 metres, topped by the 86 metre Aquijo: built together with Oceanco, and the largest ketch in the world.
The fleet reads like a who’s who of sailing design. Hoek Design’s classic ketches Adèle and Marie, Tripp-drawn performers like Sarissa and Mystère, Dubois sloops like Lady B and Ganesha, with interiors by studios such as Rhoades Young.
On a sailing yacht the exterior is part of the interior, and much of our exterior work sails aboard Vitters builds: deck sofas, dining cushions and sun areas on fast-draining foam, next to complete interiors below deck.
