From refits to the world’s largest builds.
Founded in London in 1994 by Jonny Horsfield, H2 grew from a refit specialist into one of the busiest large-yacht design studios in the world.
The studio deliberately has no house style. Every project is led by the client, across modern and classic idioms, from teams in London and, since 2024, Nice. H2 designs exteriors and interiors; the naval architecture on its projects is carried by the yards and their engineers.
The portfolio runs to the very top of the market: the 123 metre Al Lusail for Lürssen and the interior of the 195 metre research vessel REV Ocean. Closest to our own water is Scout: at 63.72 metres the largest yacht Royal Hakvoort has ever delivered, drawn by H2 inside and out, and built in the same sheds where much of our work begins.
