Royal Hakvoort Shipyard
Motor yachts from Monnickendam, since 1919.
Our upholstery aboard Just J's
A family shipyard on the water in Monnickendam, building full-custom motor yachts for over a century. Much of the work in our portfolio sailed out of their sheds.
Founded in 1919 by Albert Hakvoort Sr., the yard is still run by the family: the fourth generation leads it today, and the fifth joined the office in 2022. In 2020 the company received the Royal designation and became Royal Hakvoort Shipyard.
Hakvoort builds custom motor yachts in steel and aluminium, currently around 30 to 63 metres. The largest to date is the 63.72 metre Scout, drawn inside and out by H2 Yacht Design. More than 250 yachts have left Monnickendam in a hundred years of building.
Aboard Hakvoort builds we have trimmed complete interiors and exteriors: salons and cabins, sun pads and deck seating, panels, headboards and floors. Everything in the gallery below is our own work, photographed aboard their yachts.
